Welcome to our home — a cozy, timber-filled sanctuary in Barwon Heads. We have spent nine years restoring it.

Fifteen years ago, we left city life behind to raise our boys on the Bellarine Peninsula. Along the way, Lachie, also known as Lock, brought his carpentry business to the local community. He eventually became the builder behind LRC Custom Builders.

Today, he handcrafts bespoke timber details throughout our coastal home. These details bring warmth, character, and craftsmanship into every space.

This portable stopover from the interstate was where our journey began in Barwon Heads. Over nine years, we lovingly renovated the home. We reused reclaimed timber to create custom furniture and bespoke interiors.

This approach retains the unique character in each piece of timber. As a result, our Barwon Heads home stands as a testament to our passion for patient, considered craftsmanship. Furthermore, it reflects our commitment to sustainable building, repurposing materials and giving them new life.

Each element tells a story of sustainability, history, and a strong sense of place on the Bellarine Peninsula.
